Jorge Masvidal has hit out at "motherf***er" Jake Paul for his ongoing campaign to increase UFC fighter pay.
The YouTube star has become a rival of UFC president Dana White whom he has relentlessly attacked on social media in a bid to campaign for better fighter pay and healthcare in the promotion. Paul has been using his platform, which he has grown during his successful stint in the boxing ring, to create a fighters union alongside MMA legend Anderson Silva to step up his plans.
Paul has also now signed with White's rival MMA promotion PFL where he is expected to fight, while also promote with his vow to improve conditions for fighters in the cage. But Masvidal believes White is one of the best things that could have happened to fighters who are hoping to fight in the UFC.
"I put my money where my mouth is," Masvidal said during a furious rant on the MMA Hour when discussing Paul's issues with UFC fighter pay. "This motherf***er Jake Paul be talking about he pays fighters. Shut the f**k up. When everybody sees what the f**k the card bill is, the whole card from top to bottom, I f***ing pay fighters.
"Me and my promotion pay fighters. My brothers and sisters so they can go earn a pay cheque, kick a** and do what the f**k they do. All this other s**t is bulls**t and talk. "He's always f**king taking care of us and this doesn't happen without Dana White and the UFC giving the permission so these guys can fight.
"When I hear somebody like Jake Paul talking s**t about my business partners, I'm like f**k this idiot, what the f**k have you done in this sport, but feed yourself? Shut the f**k up and now watch how the big boys do it."

Masvidal and Paul were previously friends but their friendship has turned sour which has seen Paul regularly make plays to arrange a showdown in the boxing ring. Alongside his fighting career however, the 'Problem Child' believes he can play the role as a disruptor in combat sports and stamp his fighter-first attitude on MMA.
In a renewed attack, the American claimed that UFC fighters are being held in slave contracts and appeared to place blame on White. "This is why I am working on the United Fighters association with Anderson because I know how hard they work and how much they are sacrificing," Paul told Anthony Pompliano. "It just sucks to see them getting taken advantage of. Their [UFC] fighters are basically in slave contracts.
"The crazy part about it is that UFC fighter pay for all of their own s***, and so they are getting paid like s*** and they have to pay for all these things. It is just this really backwards thing, if it meant they raised their fighter minimum pay and increased their revenue then I would fight in the UFC."
