Jordan Walsh, the Boston Celtics‘ 38th pick of the 2023 NBA draft, had a remarkable outing in his first Summer League game, lighting it up from beyond the arc with 4-of-6 shooting on his way to putting up a team-high 18 points on Saturday afternoon.
The former Arkansas Razorbacks wing also logged 5 rebounds, 2 steals, and a block in 31 minutes of floor time with the Sin City Celtics in Boston’s 99-88 loss to the Summer Miami Heat in the Celtics’ first tilt of the NBA’s 2023 Las Vegas Summer League. Walsh shot 6-of-11 from the floor overall — excellent for a player who supposedly had trouble shooting — along with a perfect 2-of-2 from the free throw line.
The Texas native did manage to pick up 5 personal fouls and 3 turnovers while on the floor, but all in all had a very good summer league debut.
