Jordan Pickford paid tribute to 'soulmate' Megan Davison after the England keeper married his childhood sweetheart in a stunning Maldives wedding.
Former Sunderland player Jordan and new wife Megan have been together since their school days at St Robert of Newminster in Washington, with Megan on the sidelines to cheer Jordan on during every step of his footballing career, from making his debut for his hometown club to becoming a penalty shoot out hero for England in the 20128 World Cup and making the Euros final last year.
The couple, who have son Arlo together,. initially got married at a registry office in Crewe at the start of March 2020 before the first national lockdown, with Jordan saying 'I do' in jeans, a tracksuit top and baseball cap. But, having waited over two years to have their dream wedding, their sun drenched nuptials in the Maldives were a much more glamorous affair.

Jordan, who is now goalie for Everton, cut a very smart figure in white suit and deck shoes, while Megan looked absolutely sensational in a long dress with lace detail and flower embellishments as they walked hand in hand on the sand. Both Jordan and Megan both posted the same first photos from their wedding on Instagram on Wednesday night.
And next to the pictures he uploaded, Jordan penned a heartfelt message to Megan, writing: "Worth the wait for the most magical day with my soulmate... Introducing The Pickfords | 18.06.2022"
A whole host of stars were quick to comment on the snaps, including Kate Kane, wife of Jordan's England teammate Harry, reacting: " Incredible!!!!!" Tanya Bardsley, other half of ex Sunderland defender Phil, responding: " You look beautiful congratulations to you both wishing you high all the happiness in the world."
Erin Borini, the wife of former Black Cats favourite Fabio told the newlyweds: "The most gorgeous pics of the most beautiful intimate day! Love u both together."
