Jordan Henderson returns to the Liverpool team that hosts Everton in the Merseyside derby at Anfield, as Virgil van Dijk, Diogo Jota and Roberto Firmino are named on the bench.
Reds captain Henderson has been on the substitutes' bench for the last four games but is restored to the side in the absence of Thiago Alcantara, who misses the game with a hip injury.
Fabinho, who has also been on the bench for the last four fixtures, is named in the starting lineup as the Reds look to address a woeful run of results in 2023 so far.

Joe Gomez and Joel Matip continue their partnership in defence as Cody Gakpo starts his first derby up top alongside Mohamed Salah and Darwin Nunez.
