Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson has posted a defiant message on social media just days after he was linked with a sensational move away from Anfield.
The 33-year-old midfielder has been at the Reds since he was signed by Kenny Dalglish from Sunderland in 2011 and has since captained the club to every single major honour available - including when he became the first Liverpool captain since 1990 to lift a league title.
However, following Steven Gerrard's appointment as the manager of Saudi Pro League side Al Ettifaq on Monday afternoon, whom Henderson forged a close relationship with during their shared time on Merseyside between 2011 and 2015, the Reds captain has been linked as one of the big-name Premier League players who could follow the Liverpool legend to the Middle East.
According to a report in the Daily Mail earlier this week, Henderson and out-of-favour Chelsea forward Pierre Emerick Aubameyang could become two of Gerrard's first signings in the Gulf State as the Saudi Pro League continues to attract some of the most prominent names from the European game.

But on Tuesday evening, Henderson appeared to break his silence on such speculation as he uploaded a series of images from his individual summer training camp with the caption: "Don't dream of winning. Train for it!"
The Liverpool captain has made a habit of overcoming adversity during his 12-year career on Merseyside, with former manager Brendan Rodgers infamously ready to let Henderson leave the club in order to make room for Fulham's Clint Dempsey in the summer of 2012 - only for Henderson to dig his heels in and refuse a move to West London.
Flash forward 11 years and after an underwhelming campaign at Anfield last time out, Liverpool will begin their preparations for the new campaign on July 8. Starting on the weekend, members of Jurgen Klopp's squad will slowly reconvene at the AXA Training Centre in the following days before jetting out to Germany for an intense training camp towards the end of the month.
Henderson, who will be one of the last to return to Merseyside due to his involvement in England's Euro 2024 qualifying matches against Malta and North Macedonia in June, will be part of the squad that travels to the Black Forest to face Bundesliga 2 duo Karlsruher SC and Greuther Furth.
Henderson has two years remaining on his current Liverpool deal.
