Jordan Henderson says he 'should be thanking' Luis Diaz after the forward scored his first goal for Liverpool in Saturday's 3-1 win over Norwich City.
The Reds came from behind to defeat Dean Smith's side at Anfield following goals from Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah and Diaz.
The Colombia international only joined the Merseyside club from Porto in January but he's already impressed supporters in the four appearances he's made so far.
Liverpool captain Henderson has also been pleased with the impact Diaz has made since his arrival and hopes the goal will give him the confidence to 'keep going.

"He's been brilliant since he came in. His work rate in training and games. His quality as well one versus one," the skipper told Match of the Day.
"His finishing you can see is top drawer as well. So I'm really pleased for him. Hopefully that will give him a boost in confidence to keep going.
"When he makes the run it's easy to play the pass. It's a great pass and finish so I should be thanking him."
It was Henderson's through ball that found Diaz in space between the Norwich defenders and the winger was able to chip his effort over Angus Gunn and seal the victory for Liverpool.
Salah also extended his lead at the top of the Premier League goalscoring charts with his 150th goal for Liverpool as he too was on the scoresheet against the Canaries.
Jurgen Klopp's side have now reduced the gap to Manchester City to just six points after the league leaders were defeated 3-2 by Tottenham Hotspur in the later kick off on Saturday.
