Jordan Banjo is 'latest name to sign up for I'm A Celebrity... All Stars series'

Diversity star Jordan Banjo is reportedly set for a return to the jungle after signing up for the All Stars series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!

Jordan participated in the 16th series on the hugely-popular ITV show in 2016, where he was the fourth person to be vote out of the Australian jungle and was won by Gogglebox star Scarlett Moffatt. The last two series have seen celebrities head to north Wales to the picturesque surrounding of Gwrych Castle due to the coronavirus pandemic but it was announced in March that the programme will return to Queensland for 2022.

It was also confirmed earlier this year that an All Stars series will be pre-recorded in South Africa, which will see familiar faces return to face the bushtucker trials, dingo dollar challenges and living off rations for up to three weeks.

The celebrities that are reported to return are 2017 winner Georgia Toffolo, former boxing world champion Amir Khan, former royal butler Paul Burrell, Eastenders star Dean Gaffney and Carol Vorderman, who was Jordan's camp-mate in the 2016 series.

A source told The Sun : "ITV hope that Jordan will bring plenty of banter to their highly anticipated first All Stars series. He’s always up for a laugh and should have no problem keeping morale high in the camp.

"There was some concern that there wouldn’t be as much drama on an All Stars season, given that all the celebs have already been on the show and know what to expect.

"So they want to really make sure there is a good mix of fun personalities that will be entertaining to watch, even if everyone is getting along. Jordan will help create those high-energy moments."

Jordan rose to stardom in 2009 alongside older brother Ashley as dance troupe Diversity won Britain's Got Talent. He has since turned his hand to presenting after landing Kiss FM's breakfast show with fellow Diversity star Perri Kiely.

The 29-year-old has also presented on television where he was the backstage digital presenter on Dancing on Ice and co-hosted The Greatest Dancer alongside Britain's Got Talent judge Alesha Dixon, both in 2018. Jordan showed off his brilliant dancing ability in the first series of The Masked Dancer where he appeared as Viper but was, unfortunately, the first celebrity to be unmasked.

The Mirror has contacted ITV and Jordan's representatives for comment.
