Fans and media alike have been vocal with their thoughts on Jordan Addison and his recent arrest under suspicion of DUI. It came on the heels of Khyree Jackson and two others passing away at the suspected result of drunk driving, which made things more contentious.
On Wednesday, after the first day of training camp, the Vikings wide receiver spoke to the media and displayed a calm demeanor.
“This is probably the most peace I’ve felt, just being out here with my teammates… I’m going to make sure I’m JA, they know my character.”
His character is the point that most remain puzzled by after his arrest. It was his second driving issue to arise since being drafted in the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft. Last year he was cited for driving 140 mph and said he was doing so due to his pet having a medical emergency.
The team hasn’t announced or levied any punishment yet, nor has the NFL. There is still time for that to happen but until then it’s all business for Jordan Addison and he is okay with that.
