It's the musical extravaganza that has had viewers tuning in for decades now and Jools Holland's Annual Hootenanny is back on Saturday night, to help see in 2023.
Musical maestro Jools always pulls out all the stops on New Year's Eve, with a two hour long show which sees him joined by some of the biggest names in music, old friends and rising stars. He has welcomed some real icons since the show began, including Sir Tom Jones, Boy George, Paul McCartney, Adele and Kylie Minogue, who Jools famously duetted with with a version of her late 80s number 1 I Should Be So Lucky.
In recent years, Jools has hosted performances from current music heavyweights like Stormzy, Jess Glynne, Ed Sheeran, Tom Walker and Rag 'n' Bone Man, who teamed up with Jools and his band to perform smash hit All You Ever Wanted at 2021 became 2022.

The BBC's New Year's Eve schedule is going all out with some great music, with Sam Ryder hosting a New Year concert over on BBC1, featuring the likes of Sigrid and Melanie. Jools will be kicking things off on BBC 2 at 11.30pm, going right through until 1.35am. As well as a stellar line-up of acts, the pre-recorded show will also see the Pipes and Drums of the 1st Battalion Scots Guards play viewers into 2023.
