Just when you thought the Bristol area couldn’t possibly squeeze any more music and food festivals into the summer of 2022, another one has been announced. Smoked & Uncut 2022 will take place in the grounds of The Pig hotel at Pensford, between Bristol and Bath, on Saturday July 9 and the line-up has just been revealed.
Headlining this intimate festival will be Jools Holland and his 19-piece Rhythm & Blues Orchestra with special guest vocalists Eddi Reader and Ruby Turner. Also on the bill is 70s disco legends Sister Sledge featuring singer Kathy Sledge and electronic band Dub Pistols.
Run by The Pig Hotel and Lime Wood Group collection of upmarket hotels and restaurants, food is high on the agenda at Smoked & Uncut. The food stalls at the festival will include everything from classic burgers to stone-baked pizza, as well as BBQ and hot veggie and vegan bites.

Served in the hotel's restaurant, the four-course feasting menus will feature a course cooked by each of the four celebrity chefs. And for the first time, The Pigs will have a new Apprentice field kitchen serving up garden classics rustled up by the hotel’s very own ‘Pig Chef Apprentices’ and Group Chef Director James Golding.
