Jonny Bairstow made his frustration with his controversial decision clear when he returned to England's dressing room on Sunday.
Bairstow had stepped out his crease thinking the over was finished, but wicketkeeper Alex Carey threw the ball back to knock his stumps off. After a moment of confusion, the third umpire ruled Bairstow was out and the England star trudged back to the pavilion.
Australia came under heavy fire for their failure to withdraw their appeal for Bairstow to be dismissed. Their players were even confronted by MCC members at Lord's, with Stuart Broad also firing several jibes at them as he replaced Bairstow at the crease.
Bairstow himself also appears to have been left infuriated by his dismissal, making his feelings clear when he got back to the dressing room. That is according to his team-mate Jimmy Anderson, who has opened up on what happened when Bairstow returned.
"The stumping of Jonny Bairstow has divided opinion. It was not like he was trying to steal a run. Bairstow’s foot was behind the line, he was scratching the crease and then walked off to see his partner at the end of the over," he told The Telegraph.
"I thought it was the end of the over. And, as Stokes said after the game: 'Would you want to win a game that way?' I think we have enough players on our team to say: 'I’m not sure about this. It does not feel quite right'.

"It is fair to say Bairstow was not best pleased. He made his opinions clear in the dressing room as you would expect. It was a situation made for a player like him. He felt it could have been his day.
"That was not how he wanted it to end so he was very frustrated. It might make him a bit more determined when he goes out there next time. But we do not want to dwell on it. We have to move on."
Though England and their supporters were left furious, with the crowd even chanting "Same old Aussies, always cheating", Australia captain Pat Cummins defended the decision to refuse to withdraw the appeal.
"I thought it was fair. You see Jonny do it all the time. He did it on Day One to (David) Warner. He did it in 2019 to Steve (Smith). It's a really common thing for keepers to do if they see a batter keep on leaving their crease," said the Australia captain.
"Caz (Carey) - full credit to him. He saw the opportunity a few balls beforehand and rolled at the stumps. Jonny left his crease and we'll leave the rest to the umpires. We've all played a lot of cricket.
"The spirit of cricket is really important. The way we've gone about it over the last couple of years has been fantastic. We should be really proud as a group."
