Jonnie Irwin shared an update with fans following a gruelling radiotherapy session amid his terminal cancer battle.
The A Place in the Sun star took to Instagram to share a slew of videos from his recent night out in Leeds to see The Streets following his treatment.
Sharing a carousel, the 49-year-old posted a photo of Dry Your Eyes singer Mike Skinner on stage and even a selfie of himself in good spirits with a friend.
Captioning the update, he said: “What a night! Probs should be resting after radiotherapy to my Swede the day before but F it right?! More about that later.
“So glad I went especially as he played all the classics. @mikeskinnerltd had the place pumping.”
Still on a high from the gig, he later told his social media followers: “Pretty whacked today but worth it. #thestreets #livemusic.”
After sharing his update, many commended him for enjoying himself at the gig under the post.
“You are looking so healthy! Putting on weight, glimmer in your eye! Well done whatever you are doing,” one follower wrote.
Another shared: “Go Jonnie, live life to the full. You are such an inspiration to us all young man!!!”
His sister Amanda also penned: “My bro my inspiration! #proudsister.”
Last week, Irwin took to Instagram to reveal that he and his wife Jessica Holmes, 41, headed to the idyllic park of Jesmond Dean in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne with sons, Rex, 5, and three-year-old Cormac and Rafa in-tow for some muddy cycling adventures.
Uploading a series of shots from their time away to the picture sharing app, Irwin penned: "Apart from the constant peril of fearing one of the lads is gonna jump in or not hit the brakes in time we all got home without incident and probably as wet as if we had all gone in but Jesmond Dean is a special place to visit in any weather, home now for a lot fire to dry out."
Irwin's update comes after he revealed he had been suffering from a chest infection, which he was treating with antibiotics, a session in a hyperbaric chamber and deep breathing in a salt room.
The setback comes nearly a year after Irwin revealed he had terminal lung cancer, after first being diagnosed with the devastating disease in 2020.
