Nottingham Forest midfielder Jonjo Shelvey has labelled his former Newcastle United teammates "whingebags" after the Reds' 2-1 defeat to the Eddie Howe's side.
Emmanuel Dennis had given Forest the lead in the 26th minute before Alexander Isak levelled on the stroke of half-time. And a handball from Moussa Niakhate in stoppage time at the end of the match allowed Isak to score the winner from the penalty spot and condemn Steve Cooper's side to their first defeat at home in the Premier League since mid-September.
The Reds could now go into the international break in the bottom three if other results this weekend go against them.

When asked what it was like facing his old side, Shelvey told Sky Sports after the game: "I didn't think they would whinge as much as they did on the pitch but it's a game of football at the end of the day so I'm gonna give my all for this club. As soon as you go over the white line I'm there to win and obviously we didn't today but we'll come again.
"There's a lot of whingebags in their team to be fair and I'll tell them that now. I'll tell them in a jokey way but obviously, I hope they get into Europe I've got nothing but positive words to say about the whole club, the people, the staff. Made a lot of friends there so happy for them to keep pushing up the league."
