Arsenal boss Jonas Eidevall is targeting new signings after his side secured a seeded spot in the quarter-finals of the Champions League.
The Gunners thrashed Zurich 9-1 on Wednesday night to finish top of Group C, with Frida Maanum bagging a hat-trick and four other players getting on the scoresheet.
Arsenal secured the win without their star forwards Beth Mead and Viviane Miedema, who are out with season-ending knee injuries, and Eidevall is ready to dip into the transfer market as a result.
“End product is important with forward players, I think it is important to develop existing players that we have,” said Eidevall.
“But that is one of the challenges of this transfer window that we need to recruit players that can give us end product because that is certainly one of the measurable factors that we have lost with those two players that we need to take into consideration.”
