During their time on Celebrity Gogglebox on Channel 4, Jon Richardson and his fellow comedian wife, Lucy Beaumont, have revealed many facets of their partnership while sharing the sofa together. The latest revelation uncovered the 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown star’s unexpected affection for a ‘90s Hollywood classic.
However, it’s not Pulp Fiction or The Shawshank Redemption which captured his imagination, but instead James Cameron’s Titanic. The pair’s conversation uncovered the fact that he went to the cinema to watch Titanic six times.
Lucy took issue with this admission, saying: "I can't get over that". She said if the pair ever got divorced, she’d file it under the grounds that Jon watched Titanic on the big screen on six separate occasions.

This came while watching an episode of quiz show One Question, which asked whether Titanic was released in the year 2000. The duo’s disagreements didn’t stop there during today’s episode.
This time it was Jon to raise an issue - as he complained that Lucy leaves bowls of Weetabix in the bed upstairs. Jon said: “Sometimes there’s so many crumbs in our bed I feel like I’m about to be breadcrumbed. I feel like I’m about to be deep-fried.”
Alongside One Question, the famous faces tuned into editions of The Baby, Million Pound Pawn, CODA, America the Beautiful, The Laundry Guy and The One That Got Away. Celebrity Gogglebox returns on Channel 4 next Friday at 9pm.
