One of the best golfers on the planet, Spanish superstar Jon Rahm sent shock waves through the golf world when he made a blockbuster move to LIV Golf at the end of 2023. In some cases, when players have made that switch, they have seen their equipment deals cancelled, but Rahm is still very much the jewel in the Callaway crown. In March 2025, Callaway became the first equipment manufacturer to sign with a LIV Golf team. Details on how the partnership works are yet to be revealed, but it cements Rahm's position as Callaway's flagship player, even with his move to LIV Golf.
Driver
What Driver Does Jon Rahm Use?
Rahm opened up the 2025 LIV Golf season using the Callaway Elyte Triple Diamond Driver set at 10.5°. Rahm’s driver shaft of choice is a Fujikura VEntus Black 7X, a change from the Aldila Tour Green ATX 75 2.8 TX he used for years. The Triple Diamond model is the lowest spinning of the three Elyte heads and was crowned the best driver of 2025 in our testing.
What Fairway Woods Does Jon Rahm Use?

Rahm appears to still be in the 2024 Paradym Ai Smoke Triple Diamond T HL 3-wood. The high launch version has 16 degrees of loft and a bonded hosel. He also carries a Paradym Ai Smoke Triple Diamond T 5-wood @ 18°. His 3-wood has a Graphite Design AD DI 8X shaft at 43.25 inches, tipped 1.5 inches. In his 5-wood he uses a Graphite Design Tour AD-DI (Black) 8X, 42 inches and tipped 2 inches.
While Rahm uses a Tour version which is not available for retail, in our testing we found the standard Callaway Paradym Ai Smoke Triple Diamond to be a powerful option for those looking for a fairway wood to combine as a driver replacement. It offers low launch, low spin and plenty of distance. If you've got the speed and strike consistency to get it airborne, it will provide the wow factor you need to attack par fives in two and is certainly one of the best fairway woods for the more accomplished player.
What Irons Does Jon Rahm Use?

Rahm's longest iron is a 21° Callaway Apex UT with 21 degrees of loft and a 10g sole weight. He uses a KBS Tour Hybrid prototype shaft, which is 40 inches long. His 4 iron is a Callaway Apex Pro iron, and his 5-PW are made up of Callaway Apex TCBs. The shafts in all of his irons at Projext X 6.5.
When we tested the TCB, we thought they ticked every box you would look for in a set of irons for a lower handicapper. The tour-inspired shaping is immediately obvious, with the thin topline and narrow sole along with a premium satin finish. The hitting experience doesn’t disappoint either. The feel is crisp and solid off the face, a gentle thud sound contributing to a soft feel.
What Wedges Does Jon Rahm Use?

Rahm has three wedges in his bag, all Callaway JAWS Raw with lofts of 52, 56 and 60 degrees. His shaft choice in his wedges is the Project X 124 6.5. The Jaws Raw impressed us a lot in testing and is certainly in the discussion when it comes to the best Callaway wedges. It delivers loads of spin and looks stunning from all angles. There are also plenty of loft and bounce options available to suit a variety of techniques.
We believe Rahm has some leading edge relief on all his wedges because removing material from the sole stops the edge from digging. This means Rahm will be less liekly to chunk any shots from tight lies around the green.
What Putter Does Jon Rahm Use?

One of the biggest changes for 2025 is Rahm's putter. Having used Odyssey's Rossie shape of putters for many years, he's now made the switch to the Odyssey Ai-One #24 Slant putter. This is a far squarer putter than the rounded Rossie S he was previously using. Whereas the retail version of this putter has a large alignment aid running through the middle, Rahm's is all-blue on the top.
What Golf Ball Does Jon Rahm Use?

He then uses a Callaway Chrome Tour X golf ball. Speaking to Callaway about why he opted for the X, Rahm said, "It's a golf ball that's long off the tee and stays very straight with the misses, dispersion is not very wide. It also launches a little bit lower with a little bit more spin, which helps me control ball flight and trajectory."
What Shoes Does Jon Rahm Wear?

Rahm was formerly with adidas but now wears Cuater 'The Ringer' shoes. He switched into the Ringer shoes in 2022 and Rahm is clearly a big fan. He told Golf Digest; “I think a game changer is the shoes I’m using this year, they’re different from last year. They’re a lot more comfortable. I’ve done some great work with Cuater and the Travis Mathew team, and I think it’s allowed me to be a little bit more stable and up my ball speed and my swing speed without being concerned.”
Rahm was wearing Travis Mathew apparel but for 2024 he is representing his LIV Golf team, Legion XIII.
