Jon Rahm perfectly explained why LIV Golf will never be for him

It’s U.S. Open week, which is always one of the best golfing weeks of the year. While this tournament should be a pretty darn fun one at The Country Club in Brookline, Ma. there continues to be a lot of talk about LIV Golf in the press conference leading up to Thursday’s opening round.

And you know what? All this talk should be going on this week (sorry, poor Brooks Koepka) because this is one of the biggest stories in golf history and the LIV Tour, which is funded by the dirty money of killers, is fracturing the sport.

Jon Rahm was asked about LIV Golf on Tuesday and he gave a great explanation for why he’ll never play in (three rounds with no cut aren’t real tournaments to him), why he wants to stay on the PGA Tour (he wants to play against the best players in the world on the biggest stages), and why no amount of money could make him jump over to Greg Norman’s gross league.

Take a few minutes and listen to Rahm, who is the No. 2 player in the world and the defending U.S. Open champ:

That is the good stuff right there.
