What Is the Masters Payout?
The Masters is the most prestigious golf tournament in the country and its $18 million total purse reflects that prestige. This year's purse is $3 million more than the 2022 prize money.
The purse is divided among the top performers of the day, so Rahm ended up taking home about $3.24 million for an extended weekend of work.
Every golfer who finished in the top ten will earn at least $480,000, with the runner up taking home about $2 million.
Everyone in the top-34 finish is guaranteed to claim at least six figures for their work on the course.
Jon Rahm Earnings/Net Worth
Rahm is the fourth Spaniard to win the Masters, joining Seve Ballesteros, Jose Maria Olazabal and Sergio Garcia.
It has been a strong year for Rahm, who earned $1.44 million after winning the American Express tournament in January and $2.7 million after winning the 2023 Sentry Tournament of Champions.
Rahm has an estimated base salary of $5.9 million a year, plus he gets another $5.61 million from his endorsements, which include Mercedes-Benz, Blue Yonder, VistaJet, Callaway and Silverleaf Club, according to Sportskeeda.
His net worth sat at about $16 million at the start of the year, but after his strong play through the first three months he could end the year with a significantly larger fortune.
