Jon Jones will walkout to his iconic song 'The Champ is Here' for his UFC heavyweight title fight against Ciryl Gane.
UFC legend Jones meets Gane in the main event of UFC 285 in Las Vegas on Saturday night after spending three years away from the octagon. 'Bones' has been preparing for his heavyweight debut since making the last defence of his light-heavyweight title against Dominick Reyes in February 2020, with the consensus greatest fighter of all-time expected to weigh 40lb heavier than he did for his last fight.
The lengthy absence of Jones has UFC fans excited for his return and many have questioned what song he will walkout to against Gane. Jones has changed up his walkout song for his past title fights, but he told Mirror Fighting at the UFC 285 press conference that he will walkout to Jadakiss' 2004 rap song 'The Champ is Here'.

"I'm thinking a little bit of 'The Champ is Here', I'm a traditional guy," Jones said. "Yeah, the champ is here, that's how I feel. The champ is here!" Jones will become one of the few fighters in UFC history to win belts in two different weight classes if he can get past Gane, whose only loss comes to former heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou.
Jones labelled Gane the most "incomplete fighter" in the top-five of the heavyweight division and expanded on his claim by stating of his rival: "I realised that he doesn't really have much wrestling. He relies on evasion and trying to get away. He relies on jiu-jitsu instead of solid takedown defence. He does have the striking down, I don't think defensively he is a very strong kickboxer. Two other big holes are jiu-jitsu and wrestling.
Gane will look to win the UFC heavyweight title on his second attempt having previously missed out on the chance to become champion when he was beaten by former training partner Ngannou last January. Gane admitted that he didn't work enough on his wrestling whilst preparing to fight Ngannou, but has corrected that mistake during his preparations to face Jones.
"I did a lot of mistakes against Francis on the wrestling game, because I expected him to strike so I was not expecting that," Gane said. "Everybody knows the wrestling game of Jon Jones so I am very focused on that. We've been working on that and we're going to be ready for him. Everybody knows that Jon Jones it the greatest of all-time, so that's why I respect him and his career."
