Johnny Depp has settled into a quiet life in Britain and it seems he's now looking at buying his very own pub.
The Pirates of the Caribbean star lives in an 850-acre estate in Somerset, which is complete with a 19th-century mansion, and he is reportedly looking to add to his portfolio by buying The Chequers Inn.
The purchase would set Johnny back by $1.2 million (£965,500), but that would be a small price to pay as he's said to have fallen in love with the pub.
The establishment had been rumoured to be owned by Paul Hollywood's fiancée Melissa Spalding, however, The Great British Bake Off judge has denied the claims.
Taking to Instagram, he said: "Chequers Inn you've mentioned above is NOT the one in Smarden but another Chequers elsewhere, weirdly there.s more than one pub with the same name who knew !!!!"
Johnny is thought to have been tipped off about the sale of the pub by his friend and illustrator Ralph Steadman.
Ralph, who is also a regular at The Chequers Inn, said: "Depp adores the pub and has done for years. Johnny loves the history and has spoken before about wanting to buy a pub."
Explaining why it would be perfect for Johnny, Ralph told The Sun : "It's right in the heart of the English countryside. It's right up his street."
Johnny already splashed a whopping $16.2million (£13million) on his Downton Abbey-style estate which features sprawling walled gardens and a shoot.
He says he has no regrets and loves the fact that he is rarely bothered by film fans.
Speaking to Somerset Life, Johnny opened up about being a shy person and says the cute countryside - which is a far cry from the bright lights of America - is perfect for him.
"British people are cool and will greet you as if you are a neighbour, without going over the top - I like going to places, seeing things and meeting people but I'm not the great extrovert that people think.
"In truth, I'm quite a shy person. That's one of the great things about Britain, and especially Somerset. I can just be me — and that's nice.
"I can go into shops without being surrounded by people wanting selfies. I don't mind that up to a point, but sometimes it gets a little too crowded," he told the publication.
