The Johnny Depp libel case against his ex-wife Amber Heard rumbles on this week but yesterday things took another dramatic turn.
One fan claimed out loud in court that the Pirates of the Caribbean star was the father of her child.
The female follower stood up with the young child and shouted: "Johnny, I love you! Our souls are connected,"
The unidentified woman then held up a baby in Virginia's Fairfax County Courthouse and yelled, "This baby is yours" at the actor.
The bizarre incident took place during a break and Judge Penney Azcarate had left the courtroom, according to Law & Crime.
The publication also claim that Mr Depp, 58, simply turned and waved at the unknown woman, following her declaration of love.
The female fan then held up the baby, declaring the actor to be the father, as a deputy approached her.
The deputy went on to escort the woman from the courtroom - removing the wristband that allowed her access to the high-profile trial.
According to a Law & Crime reporter, after being removed from the courtroom, the female fan went on to claim she was joking.
The incident marked the beginning of another dramatic and explosive week in Virginia's Fairfax County Courthouse.
Proceedings regarding exes Mr Depp and Ms Heard's libel dispute resumed for the sixth and final week on Monday.
The Edward Scissorhands star, 58, is suing his ex-wife Ms Heard, 36, for alleged defamation over an op-ed she wrote for The Washington Post in 2018, in which she stated she was a victim of domestic abuse.
The article did not mention the actor by name, but Mr Depp argues that due to the alleged implication he is an abuser, he has lost work and been financially impacted by the piece.
The Aquaman actress is countersuing her ex-husband for $100million (£81million).
Ms Heard's counterclaim accuses Depp of orchestrating a "smear campaign" against her and describing his lawsuit as a continuation of "abuse and harassment."
The trial was originally set to end last Thursday (May 19) but has been extended until until May, as more evidence is still to be presented.
It's been reported that supermodel Kate Moss - one of Mr Depp's exes - will be one of the final witnesses called to give their testimony, following Ms Heard mentioning her name on the stand.
At the time, legal experts described the American star's move as a "blunder", while immediately on Ms Moss being named, Mr Depp's legal team were seen aghast later fist-bumping each other.
According to reports in the US, the fashion icon will testify via live video link and be called by Mr Depp's team on Wednesday.
Mum-of-one Ms Moss, 48, enjoyed a four-year relationship with Mr Depp during the 90s.
It is believed the two stars have remained friendly since their split in 1997.
