Hughes' funeral will take place on Friday, August 12 with a Requiem Mass to be held at St Mary’s, Calton at 12.30pm.
The funeral cortege will then pass Celtic Park at approximately 1.45pm with supporters asked to wear some green in a tribute to the Lisbon Lion.
The service will be broadcast on Celtic TV and the club Youtube channel for fans unable to attend Celtic Park on Friday.
But those wishing to attend Celtic Park have been asked to arrive at The Celtic Way at around 1.30pm in time for the cortege to pass the stadium.
Hughes earned icon status at Celtic during an incredible period at the club in the 1960s as he won seven league titles, five League Cups, four Scottish Cups and the European Cup.
