John Terry’s Everton prediction almost immediately backfired after they were handed a thumping by Tottenham on Monday night.
The Toffees are in serious danger of being relegated this season after a disastrous campaign that saw Rafa Benitez sacked earlier in the year.
Frank Lampard was picked as his successor but it has been a difficult start for the Chelsea legend.
The latest humiliation came on Monday night in north London as Everton took on Tottenham, who have had their own series of problems throughout the season.
But they put their issues behind them to blow the Merseyside outfit off the park after a 5-0 hammering.

At half-time, the game looked as good as over with the visitors already 3-0 down but Lampard’s pal Terry tried to remain positive.
Watching the match at home, he optimistically tweeted: “Big team talk needed here, expecting a big response from Everton in the second half, the next goal decides the game.”
However, that goal did not take long - in fact, it took just seconds after the restart - before Sergio Reguilon scored at the back post almost straight away.
Everton’s collapse continued when Harry Kane, who had struck earlier in the contest, grabbed his second to move above Thierry Henry in the all-time top scorers list in the Premier League.
It was a fine performance from Spurs, who will hope this can springboard them into a top-four position after a number of poor performances.
But alarm bells will be ringing at Goodison Park, who are just one point above the relegation zone and sapped for confidence.
This was the ninth defeat away from home for Everton out of 13 and a seventh loss in eight league matches while there are tough games to come against West Ham, Manchester United, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal.
"I will be ready for them, the players will be ready for them, they have to be ready for them," Lampard said.
"I didn't walk into the building with a magic wand.
"The feeling at this club when I came here was we could be going down. It was clear around the city, it was up to me to change that and I thought we had changed that.
"But this is a test of that. I had 20 years as a player, I had hundreds of periods like this."
Everton are back at home this weekend when they take on Wolves, who have lost three in a row to hamper their hopes of a European finish.
