John Stones put his off-the-field woes behind him as he got close to his new girlfriend following England’s Nations League win over Switzerland on Sunday.
The Three Lions defender was seen smooching ex-beautician Olivia Naylor in the stands after his team overcame their European rivals 6-5 on penalties.
Stones appeared in high spirits despite being dropped by manager Gareth Southgate for the third-place play-off encounter in Guimaraes.
This show of defiance comes after reports emerged that Stones is facing dressing room jibes from rival footballers.
Manchester City defender Stones reportedly walked out on his childhood sweetheart Millie Savage and their daughter shortly before Christmas last year.
Stones had been in a relationship with Millie for nine-years before he moved out of their £3.4million family home.
The centre back then began dating ex-beautician Olivia, 30, who was already pregnant before she met the footballer, soon after the split having hit it off on a night out.
And Stones' love life has apparently been the talk of dressing rooms up and down the country, with the England ace ridiculed on group WhatsApp conversations.
“John is getting a ribbing, partly because Olivia knows other players," a source told the Sun .
“The truth is that John doesn’t like Olivia and him being the centre of attention and gossip.
“Lads are having a dig because they’re saying, wrongly, that he left his partner and daughter for Olivia.
“However the truth is that John and Millie had split up long before he got together with Olivia.”
