John McGinn says he won't forget Scotland's 2-1 win over the Republic of Ireland in a hurry after the Hibs' 2016 hero made his way into the nation's Hall of Fame.
The midfielder made more Hampden history on Saturday night as he pulled on his nation's colours for the 50th time in a crucial Nations League Group B success. John Egan had put the away side ahead but Steve Clarke's men fought back to win through Jack Hendry and Ryan Christie goals.
It's another milestone moment for the midfielder, who lifted the Scottish Cup with Hibs in Mount Florida over six years ago, having been named captain at Premier League club Aston Villa by Steven Gerrard over the summer. Next up for the nation is Ukraine on Tuesday.

Speaking on Premier Sports, he said of the match against Stephen Kenny's dogged side: "It was a tough game, but we competed well in the second half and deserved the win.
"It was getting a bit feisty, but that suited us. A huge night for me - all my family and friends were here. I'm proud as ever to join the names on that list.
"Beating Ireland on my 50th cap is something I'll never forget. The crowd drove us on and the subs made a difference.
"We'll do what we can to recover [before playing Ukraine]. It's like a cup final on Tuesday. We're looking forward to the game."
