John Lundstram believes that the Rangers players are not thinking about how many points they are behind rivals Celtic.
Rangers are nine points behind Ange Postecoglou's men with a crunch Old Firm derby coming up next week that could signal a do-or-die title clash for Michael Beale's side, who are three wins from their opening three games. Lundstram then earned another three points for the Englishman with a nice strike against Ross County on a dominating evening in the Highlands
The midfielder, however, was dropped from Beale's starting eleven for Aberdeen before his rifled effort downed the Staggies on Friday. Lundstram, who confirmed he has been playing with an injury problem, is keen to stress that the key focus of his teammates currently is to implement Beale's style - not on their league position.

He said: “You don’t think about that when you cross the white line, of course you don’t. Obviously we are nine points behind and we want to try and reduce that deficit as much as we can.
“We go out to win every game and if that gets us closer to reducing the nine point deficit then that is great. But we are just concentrating on ourselves at the minute, trying to implement the gaffer’s style and getting better, that is really all we are trying to do. If that comes with reducing the deficit then great.
"At Rangers you do your best to get out on the park every week, that is your commitment to being a Rangers player. That is a given – if you can play you play and that is that.
“I took an injection to play on Friday, so a couple of days off will probably do me good.”
