Rangers star John Lundstram is facing a continued injury sweat after being snapped leaving Ibrox in a moon boot.
The midfielder hobbled off after 10 minutes with an ankle complaint during Saturday's 2-1 win over Ross County. The 28-year-old was left wincing and spoke to manager Michael Beale before heading up the tunnel. Lundstram has remained a key man under the Englishman and was a standout in their dominant win over Hearts last week. But he could be facing a long spell out as he's been snapped with protective gear around his left ankle.
Beale admitted it was a major blow with the prospect of the former Sheffield United man missing game time in the coming weeks. He said: "It (Lundstram's injury) destabilised us a little bit (against Ross County). He is very important to our structure. He has gone to block his shot, he rolled his ankle, it looks like quite a nasty one, we will scan in the next 24 hours and update afterwards."
