As August draws to a close, fashion fans are opting for longer sleeves and fuller shoes as we prepare for the Autumn season. And a chunky boot is an absolute wardrobe must.
The 'John Lewis Anyday Purcell Leather Chelsea Boots' have racked up rave reviews from shoppers, the Echo reports, earning 4.4 out of 5 stars from shoppers.

Part of the 'Anyday' range, which aims to provide on-trend styles for 'affordable' prices., the boots are priced at £65, with some claiming they are the 'best boots ever'.
The product description reads: "Our high cut Purcell Chelsea boot is a staple for everyone's winter wardrobe. Made from soft leather, the style features a chunky cleated sole made from a lightweight EVA composition - a perfect material to add chunkiness without the weight. An organic soft elastic cut has the right amount of flexibility for a pull-on and close-fitting finish."
The quality and comfort of the boots, which come in black, white, khaki and burgundy, are described as 'great' for 'excellent' value. One shopper said: "So comfy, stylish, reasonably priced, well made.. everything! Had them for a month now and didn't even have to break them in - highly recommend."
A second review read: " I have been looking for the perfect pair of Chelsea boots for months and in particular loved this colour way. Agree with a lot of reviewers, these are so comfortable and on trend. Well made sturdy boots, with beautiful leather and a great fit. Will be ordering the black ones, more colours please John Lewis."
