John Lewis shoppers 'can't do without' £32 'cosy' loungewear item

With the ongoing cost of living crisis continuing to hit families hard, many people are looking for ways to stay warm while keeping their energy bills as low as possible. One product in particular is now causing a bit of a stir online, with many savvy shoppers hailing it as an ‘essential for winter'.

The £32 Frosted High-Pile Throw On from John Lewis has caught many shoppers' attention, and it’s the perfect way to keep warm when working from home, or lounging around the house.

If you’ve been after The Oodie wearable hooded blanket, but don’t want to fork out £69, this cosy cardi will keep you just as warm, but for half the price - plus, it’s stylish too so you’ll get no funny looks popping out to the supermarket in it.

The product description reads: "A cosy throw-on layer, we've designed this piece with a frosted high-pile that feels warm and super soft on the skin. We've shaped it with drop sleeves and an enveloping relaxed fit with front patch pockets to keep hands toasty too."

There’s two colours to choose from including grey and oatmeal, and it’s available in sizes S-M and L-XL.

One shopper, who claims she "can’t do without it for winter" added: "love this Throw On. It looks exactly like the photos. It's essential indoor winter wear providing warmth when the heating is on low."

A second delighted customer wrote: "Brought one last Christmas for a friend, and thought I'd treat myself this year to one and so happy I did. I wear mine most days and it saves me putting my heating on. Best purchase to date."

While a third said: "Really warm and cosy. Very useful can turn the gas down a notch or two!"

The throw is machine washable and features long sleeves and two roomy pockets to keep your hands nice and toasty.
