John Legend has revealed Chrissy Teigen is already thinking about having more children after the couple said they have “cautious optimism” about their latest pregnancy.
The 43-year-old singer and his model wife, 36, are already proud parents to daughter Luna, six, and son Miles, four.
They announced in September that Teigen is expecting again after turning to IVF.
The news comes two years after the were forced to make the “difficult decision” to terminate another pregnancy at 20 weeks when they learnt both Teigen and their son - whom they named Jack - would likely not survive a full pregnancy.
Despite initial intrepidation, the All of Me singer discussed the benefits of having a big family and how he thought that might work.
“Chrissy, I think, wants more. I’m one of four, so I’m cool with it,” he said in an interview with Entertainment Tonight.
“I was like, you know, once you get into that zone it’s a lot of folks - especially when you’re travelling [it] gets difficult,” he continued.
Adding: “They have each other, you know. Luna and Miles will be older siblings now and there’s enough of a gap to where we don’t have to micromanage their every moment.”
His latest words come after he recently admitted to being nervous after the traumatic experience they had before.
Appearing on Good Morning Britain, he explained: “Whenever you lose a pregnancy it is always cautious optimism when you are pregnant again, because you never know what could happen and you have experienced that tragedy of losing one.
“Your optimism is a little bit tempered by that. But everything has been great so far and we are really excited.
“The kids are excited, we are all excited and can’t wait to welcome this new baby into the world.”
