FC Midtjylland sporting director Svend Graversen says they will take their time in appointing their next manager amid links to Celtic coach John Kennedy.
The former defender has worked with the club in various capacities and has shown steadfast dedication to Celtic, but reports have claimed that the Danish side are potentially set to open talks with him over replacing recently sacked boss Bo Henriksen. They were dumped out the Champions League by Benfica 7-2 on aggregate on Tuesday as speculation over Kennedy mounted.
They will work with OneNexus in recruiting their new leader, 'a trusted advisor and recruitment partner for organisations, coaches and managers in the professional sports industry' according to the company's website. Graversen says it will not be a rushed process but it's one that has started. Speaking to Danish outlet bold.dk, he said: "We are 100% satisfied with the setup we have. We've given ourselves time and peace to find the right process.

"That's what it's all about. We have to find the person who can step in and take over the team, and we must not be limited by time.
"We have started the process, and then the right person will come when he comes. We are not going to rush.
"It takes the time it takes. You don't just have one standing ready, and then you press the button, and then you take him in."
