John Hodnett's slip of the tongue leaves Peter O'Mahony red-faced

We've all at some point said something and then instantly wished we hadn't. That was exactly the feeling that was etched all over Peter O'Mahony's face as teammate John Hodnett spoke to the media after his winning try for Munster in the URC final earlier today.

Munster defeated the defending URC champions in a classic encounter in Cape Town to become the first Irish side to win the title. It was Hodnett who came away he hero but made an unfortunate yet hilarious gaffe in a post match interview.

Whilst answering a question from a reporter the 24 year-old immediately responded with "yeah look f* it's some win in fairness like, we've had it tough".

O'Mahony, standing next to him, had initially looked happy but immediately dropped his head into his hand with a look of embarrassment when he heard the unfortunate word slip out.

O'Mahony's reaction could very well end up being the next viral GIF/meme for disappointment. Watch this space!
