Liverpool owner John W. Henry was questioned over the club’s transfer business at Anfield today.
The Reds continue to be linked with a host of potential new midfielders as the transfer window rumbles on. Jurgen Klopp admitted that the club are looking to possibly sign a player of that ilk before the window closes.
"There is really nothing to say about it," Klopp said. "We are looking for it and if it is the right player we need him and if it is not the right player we don’t need him.

"I know we have had this discussion since it all started and I am the one who said we don’t need a midfielder and you were all right and I was wrong. Now we go for a midfielder. That’s the situation. But the specific point doesn’t change - we will do something but it has to be the right one.”
Henry was at Anfield on Saturday for Liverpool’s win over Bournemouth. The Reds won 9-0 to equal the Premier League record for the biggest win.
A video has emerged on social media of Henry walking down the tunnel at Anfield. In the video, a fan can be heard telling Henry that the club “needs to sign a midfielder”.
Appearing to respond to the fan’s comments, Henry could be seen giving a thumbs up in the fan’s direction. However, the Fenway Sports Group chief did not say anything to back up his gesture.
