John Hartson slams Josip Juranovic Celtic transfer exit talk as he accuses agent of 'causing anarchy'

Raging John Hartson has taken aim at Josip Juranovic 's agent as the Celtic full back continues to be linked with a big money move away from the Scottish champions.

The full-back has been touted as a potential target for Premier League big guns Manchester United and Chelsea, after being linked with Atletico Madrid earlier this summer. Celtic have yet to receive any formal contact for the Croatian cap and boss Ange Postecoglou has no fears about the former Legia Warsaw ace having his head turned this summer.

However, the speculation has sparked a heated reaction from former Celtic Park hero Hartson who has put the blame on the player's agent for the links with a move away from Glasgow's east end. The Welshman fumed that the player was being flagged as a potential target for other clubs after a short spell at Celtic, and with Champions League football around the corner.

Hartson told Sky Sports: "That will happen when you play for a global club. Celtic, Rangers; if your performances are very, very good then clubs are going to come calling.

"But listen, Josip Juranovic has been at the club for two minutes and his agent is linking him with clubs. He has done really well, he has got in the team. He is a really effective player when he gets forward in the box, but his agent shouldn't be touting him about like this.

"His move is going to happen, that's football. But stay at Celtic, play football, you have become a champion, you are in the side and your manager really likes you.

"These agents cause anarchy because they just want to fill their own pockets. Three, four years down the line you may get your move, but at this moment in time he has been at the club for five minutes doing very, very well.

"I'm sure Ange won't want to lose him. He has been outstanding."
