John Hartson declares Celtic champions as he sends Rangers fans pointed '10 titles' reminder

Confident John Hartson insists Celtic ARE are champions after their draw with Rangers.

The gap remains at six points in the Scottish Premiership race after Jota's opener was cancelled out by Fashion Sakala's second half strike.

With just three games to go it would take a historic collapse for Ange Postecoglou 's side to fail to claim the title, with Celtic also boasting a superior goal difference.

Victory over Hearts next week will effectively see the league leaders over the line - but Hartson wasn't willing to wait for the visit of Robbie Neilson's men.

The ex-Parkhead striker was jubilant after the full-time whistle and was quick to point to the domestic dominance his former club have enjoyed throughout the last decade.

And he further insisted Celtic should have stretched their lead to nine points at the top of the table despite a second half fightback from their Glasgow rivals.

Posting on Twitter after the game, the Welshman said: "(Celtic) Could have won, should have won.. could have lost.

"Really important we didn’t lose today...let’s make it officially 10 titles in the last 11 years next week or even in the next 2/3 weeks. It’s done.
