The Baltimore Ravens were defeated by the Cleveland Browns by the final score of 29-24 in Week 8. The loss dropped their record to 5-3 on the year, and evened their division record at 1-1.
Despite the defeat, head coach John Harbaugh appreciated the effort and fight put forth by his team. He mentioned how the team will get back to Baltimore and regroup, with a big Week 9 matchup with the Denver Broncos ahead.
“Congrats to the Browns. [It was a] tough loss for us, [but it was] hard fought [and I] appreciate the effort and the fight with our guys as always. We’ll get ourselves organized; get back to Baltimore and start getting ready for Denver next week at home. What questions do you have?”
Baltimore lost to Cleveland in a disappointing way, and the defeat could come back to haunt them when the time comes to determine playoff seeding. However, there is still plenty of season left, which means plenty of time for the team to bounce back.
