John Fury makes violent threat to "horrible" Deontay Wilder in furious rant

John Fury has slammed "horrible" Deontay Wilder after his surprising criticism of son Tyson Fury.

Wilder has previously fought the 'Gypsy King' on three occassions being handed a controversial draw before being stopped twice by the Briton in an epic trilogy on American soil. It was expected that the brutal nature of the third meeting would see their rivalry drawn to a close, but their feud has been re-ignited after the American re-emerged as a contender to Fury's WBC crown.

In a chance meeting in Saudi Arabia at Fury's brother Tommy's fight with Jake Paul, the pair were seemingly civil and greeted on camera in front of swathes of media ringside in the Middle East. However Wilder proceeded to renew his ill-feeling to Fury branding him a "mother f***er" and insisting their personal war was far from over.

However Fury Sr has been left fuming by the comments conceding he never liked the American heavyweight and believes he will never earn his respect after his glove-tampering claims following his defeats. During a heated rant in an interview with Mirror Fighting courtesy of FreeBets.com, Fury Sr said: "I just think Wilder is a horrible, decrepid man I just don't like him at all. He can't take a loss.

"If I was a young man like Tyson, we would have have a roll around on the carpet. I would have hit him both hands straight in the mouth, but I haven't bred a son like me. Tyson's a great boxer but he doesn't have my fire. If a man insults me I will hit him straight in the mouth. I said to Tyson 'why don't you hit him?' He should have been hit.

"Even Jake Paul handled his defeat well and has gone back to the drawing board. He [Wilder] is now howling and screaming abuse, how can somebody cheat you when he has been knocked spark out? And all this glove business, everything is checked out with WBC officials. Wilder for my money is a sore loser, and he will never get respect from me."

Fury Sr was at the heart of the rivalry between his son and Wilder which spanned several years and saw some heated confrontations between the pair at media events. It remains unclear if the pair will touch gloves again despite Wilder suggesting he would be open to a fourth fight if he is mandated.

Wilder however is still clearly not a fan of his rival and insist with his repetitive accusation that he cheated in their fight. "I know a lot of people seen me with Fury," he told ESNews. "There's a place and a time for all things. Of course... I can't stand that motherf*****, they know what's up. He's a cheater, I know a lot of things. A lot of top people know a lot of things, so they can't be fooled bro.

This is a peaceful ground. It's like 'I don't like you, but I can come and let you know I see you see. We can co-exist with each other, you stay over there and I'll stay over here, that's it'. "[It would be] Totally different him if I saw him out or something like that, I'm going to go off how my energy feels and that can be very unpredictable because I'm an unpredictable person."
