John Fury has mocked Eddie Hearn for supposedly costing Anthony Joshua £100million as talks of his fight with Tyson Fury came to a halt.
Heavyweight champion Fury has been in talks with Joshua for several weeks over a potential fight on December 3 in Cardiff, despite 'AJ' having lost his past two fights to Oleksandr Usyk. Joshua agreed to terms offered by Fury but missed his proposed deadline to sign a contract, but Fury was convinced by his promoter Frank Warren to give his rival more time. The fight is now seemingly off as both parties are unable to come to an agreement and are both blaming each other for its collapse.
Fury's dad mocked Hearn, who he labelled 'Mr brains of Britain', in a lengthy message explaining how he cost Joshua £100million. John mocked Hearn and Joshua for refusing to take £15million in step-aside money to allow Fury to face Usyk in an undisputed title clash in August, as Joshua was outpointed by the Ukrainian for the second time.

"This is a video to Eddie Hearn, Mr Brains of Britain,” John said. “Let me explain to you my friend of how you cost your man over £100million. £15m step-aside money, free money, then Tyson would have gone and done what AJ couldn’t do. He would have gone and beat Usyk and brought all the belts back to the UK.
“In the meantime AJ could have had a couple of easy victories, another £30m, then he could have challenged Tyson for the belts and who knows what kind of numbers that would have done. So, yeah, you don’t need to be the brains of Britain to see how you cost him money and put him in a position where he was on a hiding to nothing, Mr Brains of Britain."
John's theory would have only proved true if Fury handed Usyk his first professional loss to become undisputed champion and if Joshua had earned £30m for some tune-up fights in the meantime. He proceeded to mock Hearn for missing out on the chance of receiving "free money" for Joshua and condescending labelled the promoter as "very clever".
“You got him beat over there when you could have had £15m free money, step-aside money and Tyson would have gone and beat his man up for him and brought all the belts back in. He could’ve challenged him after some easy victories, free money I might as well say, so yeah, you’re a clever man Eddie, aren’t you? Very clever."
