John Bishop has received many comments of appreciation by fans after a heartfelt message to his wife, Melanie. The ITV talk show host posted a touching tribute to his wife as they celebrate 30 years of marriage.
To celebrate their pearl anniversary, many family and friends came together to celebrate the couple and Melanie wore her original wedding dress, John wrote "she still fits in the dress and my heart still fits in her pocket."
In his post on Instagram, John wrote "30 years ago today @melbish1 walked down the aisle in that dress. She took my breath away then and still does today. Last weekend we spent time with our bridesmaids (Jane and Jane ) ushers (John, Paul, Sergie and Jimmy) and best man (our Eddie) who are still the most important people in our lives and whose support has helped reach this far."

"It is amazing how quickly three decades pass. In that time there has been a million laughs and a million tears. Life doesn’t always comply with the perfect world that social media presents - no matter who you are there are days when its hard to see a way through."
He added "There are some things I wish I had done better and there are others that blow my mind because they went so well. After 30 years of marriage the one lesson I have learnt is that I am a stronger better man because she is the person who holds my hand and guides me through when all I can see is darkness ."
Melanie also posted a tribute to her husband, "I am the person I am today because of you @johnbish100 You complete me in everything . The road has not been easy but today we celebrate what is us , what we have always known since we saw one another for the first time in the Uni library - that we are one. We have been blessed to have shared this special occasion with those who were with us at the start and are still by our sides today . Thankyou to them all for their love and support over the past 3 decades and John .. you have my heart".

Fans of the comedian wrote congratulations and appreciation for his tribute to his wife, one commented "Omg wow what beautiful wording. And yes you’re right, younguns won’t get it but 30 years just runs away too easily."
Another wrote, "Well what can I tell ya. What a beautiful tribute to your wonderful Mel. 30 years later, how lucky you both are to still have so much love and respect for each other. I am truly touched by your words. Here's to the next 30 yrs...Huge Congratulations"
"Those words are amazing I love romance an you two obviously are still in love the same as the day you made your vows," another replied.
