Reality star Joey Essex has suffered an injury on just the second day of his training for Dancing On Ice.
The former The Only Way is Essex star was confirmed for the dancing competition last week. Joey said he was asked to compete years ago but didn't feel it was the right time.
Discussing the show, he said: "It's more serious than what I normally do. I like doing serious stuff. I'm not the best skater. I skated when I was around 11 or 12 but nothing proper. I did The Jump... I don't know how I won that. This is one of those shows where winning is a bonus but I'm going to give it my everything."

On Thursday, the 32-year-old shared an update with his many Instagram followers after just two days of training for the show. Joey warned people to "respect" the ice.
The post featured a number of photos of Joey with a swollen, bandaged finger. Captioning the post, Joey simply said: "Respect the ice, otherwise the ice will not respect you… Day 2".
Fans were quick to wish Joey well. Taking to the comments section, Amanda said: "Oooooh hope it’s not too bad! Xx", Yvonne said: "Omg be careful", while Carina said: "Get well soon".
