Rumours of a Dancing on Ice romance have been fuelled after co-host of the ITV show, Holly Willoughby, quizzed The Only Way Is Essex star Joey Essex about his relationship with his professional skater partner. The popular This Morning presenter questioned the contestant live on Sunday night's show
Dancing on Ice has returned to our screens for its 15th season. As 11 celebs take to the ice with their professional skating partners, judges Jayne Torvill, Christopher Dean, Ashley Banjo and Oti Mabuse are, once again, casting their eyes over the couples' technical ability. However, it was one half of presenting team Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield who wanted to know more about the personal relationship of contestant Joey.
The reality star has teamed up with 2018 winner Vanessa Bauer for the competition. One of six celeb contestants to take to the ice for Sunday's show - five more will compete this Sunday - Joey performed alongside Vanessa to classic track Mack the Knife.

The TOWIE favourite bagged a "very respectable 27 out of 40 for his first skate", according to Chronicle Live. Then, after the judges had given their scores, Holly tried to dig for gossip.
She asked: "It would be fair to say you're really enjoying this partnership aren't you?" Pausing for a few seconds, Joey replied: "Well yeah, I mean... she's easy on the eye." Holly told him: "Yes, she is an excellent skater!"
Holly's grilling of Joey came after he was seen asking for Vanessa's number in a teaser for the new series, as well as plenty of reported rumours about their apparent romance. And Holly wasn't the first TV star to dig for answers from Joey.
When he appeared as a guest on Lorraine a few days earlier, the Scottish host told him: "So of course, everybody says you're going out. That is what they say all the time."
Joey responded: "Lovely girl. What? The tabloids? I mean she's a great partner. She is beautiful, she is a lovely girl and we get on really well." He added: "It is nice to be with someone who... we literally spend so much time together on the ice so it is nice to er... be happy, yeah."
