Celtic starlet Joey Dawson is wanted by Inverness on loan this month, according to a report.
The 19-year-old has impressed for the Hoops' B set-up and notched two late goals in their recent Old Firm Lowland League triumph over Rangers at Parkhead. The Young Celts ran out 5-2 winners on the day with the striker firing twice in the final moments of the game. Now he could be set for a run of senior football with Football Scotland reporting that Caley Thistle have made an enquiry and asked the question over a deal until the summer.
The same report states the 19-year-old also has interest from clubs in the English Football League with both Crewe and Carlisle namechecked as suitors south of the border. Dawson would provide Billy Dodds extra fire power at the top end of the park as they bid to turn their form around in the second part of the season and secure a Premiership play-off spot. They currently trail fourth placed Morton by seven points at the halfway stage.

Ange Postecoglou handed Dawson a first-team debut away to St Johnstone just over a year ago amid a striker crisis with Kyogo Furuhashi forced out through injury. He almost made the dream start with a goal on his first appearance but watched his effort get agonisingly cleared off the line.
He's been nowhere near the top team set up since and could now see a move sanctioned to get vital experience under his belt.
Speaking at the time of his debut, he said: "I was devastated it didn’t go in. I don’t know how he got there to be fair.
"After I dinked the keeper I thought it was in and I had my debut goal but they’ve just stretched to keep it off the line.
"Me scoring isn’t the main thing, the most important thing is the win."
