Newcastle United suffered their first home defeat of the season on Saturday evening as Liverpool piled the pressure on in the race for the top four.
The Magpies conceded twice and saw Nick Pope sent off in a manic 12-minute period in the first-half. The Newcastle stopper will now miss next week's Carabao Cup final through suspension.
Newcastle still threatened despite being a man down and were unlucky not to find a way beyond Liverpool goalkeeper Allison. Here are the moments you may have missed from St James' Park.

Big Jo's pleas ignored
Joelinton enjoyed yet another decent showing on Saturday, keeping Liverpool's midfielders quiet for the vast majority of the fixture.
There was a slight concern over the Brazilian in the second-half, however, when he went down with an apparent hamstring issue. After being treated by physios, Joelinton looked ready to continue.
However, Eddie Howe was taking no chances with the Carabao Cup final on the horizon as Jason Tindall almost immediately called for Matt Ritchie to return to the bench after his warm-up.
As Ritchie was stood on the touchline waiting to come on, Joelinton shouted over to Howe to tell him he was fine to play on. But the boss' decision had been made and the substitution took place.
Joelinton and Howe shared a few words on the touchline before Newcastle's No 7 took his place on the bench. The Magpies boss was no doubt telling the player he was taking him off with the Wembley showpiece in mind.
Saint-Maximin gets fans back on side
Allan Saint-Maximin will always split opinion on Tyneside. But on his day, he is arguably the most difficult attacker for top flight defenders to deal with.
The Frenchman was certainly in the mood on Saturday, driving Newcastle forward at any given opportunity. Saint-Maximin even earned the Man of the Match award as Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher lavished praise on his performance.
Saint-Maximin enjoyed an electric start to the game as he tried to get beyond Trent Alexander-Arnold at every opportunity. After an early cross was cleared by Van Dijk and his follow up effort went well wide, the Newcastle player turned to the Leazes End and roared, asking fans to lift the atmosphere inside St James' Park.
The home supporters responded with a roar of their own and were in fine voice as Newcastle dominated the early stages of the clash.
Did Maxi do enough to start next week? A lot of supporters are now in favour of that possibility after his Liverpool showing.
Special guests in attendance
The evening kick-off was always set to be a special one with tributes paid to Christian Atsu and Sir Bobby Robson before kick-off.
Wor Flags pulled it out the bag yet again with their Sir Bobby displays, while a minute's applause was held for the late Atsu after his tragic passing in Turkey.
Members of Robson and Atsu's family were in attendance at St James' Park for the Liverpool clash in a fitting gesture by the club. Newcastle chairman Yasir Al-Rumayyan and England manager Gareth Southgate were also situated in the director's box for the clash.
