Joe Tracini moved This Morning viewers to tears and left presenter Alison Hammond visibly choked up as he appeared as a guest on the show on Wednesday, performing a song that struck a chord with many people at home.
Former Hollyoaks star Joe, son of famous comic Joe Pasquale, has been open about his battle with Borderline Personality Disorder, since shooting to TV fame as a cast member on the Channel 4 show. In a frank interview on Lorraine earlier this year he spoke about his struggles, and how he had attempted suicide, later explaining on Twitter :"I think suicide notes are the wrong way round, so I write them for myself to read in the future telling me why I should stay."
Joe was back on ITV to join Alison and her co-host Dermot O'Leary on the This Morning sofa and spoke about his very honest and no hole barred book Ten Things I Hate About Me, as well as performing a song he'd written, called Grow, which he said was " a song for children, as I think we're forgetting they're going to grow up and when they do, they might not be happy."

The self=penned track contained lines like 'We'll still have good days and bad. We'll still have parties and fights' and You're the start of someone brilliant, so grow and show the world who are.' Joe looked rather self conscious as he finished the song, asking: "Am I still on TV?" completely onblivious to the massive reaction he'd sparked online.
Alison looked emotional as she gathered herself after Joe's performance and she wasn't the only one. Posting on Twitter, through tears Emmerdale actress Amy Walsh wrote: " @joetracini l’m bawling my eyes out at your beautiful performance on @thismorning just now. That song is so powerful. You are so powerful. Stay strong."
Another viewer reacted: " @joetracini on This Morning. Wow, what a powerful song! Made me cry. In a good way," with a third tweeting: "I was moved to tears by you and your song . Well done for getting the information out there. You're so brave, talented and come across as such a lovely person. Thank you."
