The Jets scored a huge victory over the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 6 but may have lost another offensive lineman.
Rookie Joe Tippmann, who was inserted into the starting lineup a couple of weeks ago at right guard, suffered a thigh injury during the game Sunday and could be out a while, per head coach Robert Saleh.
Tippmann due to have an MRI tomorrow. Sounds like it could be a quadriceps injury, potentially significant. https://t.co/Vc78mS2Pao

Tippmann will get an MRI on Monday to determine the severity. It could potentially be a significant injury. With Tippmann out, Wes Schweitzer stepped in at right guard. As a result, the Jets were left without any backup interior offensive linemen on Sunday. The only other backup linemen were tackles Billy Turner and Carter Warren.
The Jets also have Xavier Newman and Jason Poe on the practice squad.
Tippmann was starting to hit his stride after getting into the starting lineup after the Jets moved Mekhi Becton to left tackle and Alijah Vera-Tucker to right tackle. With Tippmann out, it was Schweitzer next to Max Mitchell on the right side.
