Joe Thomson feels Larne could be on a similar trajectory to his former club Derry City.
Thomson, who came on fro his debut in the 1-0 win over Glentoran on Saturday, made the switch to Inver Park from the Brandywell a fortnight ago and he sees similarities between the clubs.
The Candystripes secured the FAI Cup back in November cheered on by a large partisan support, and the former Dunfermline midfielder feels his new club have everything in place to follow their own path to success.

"My Last game at Derry was unbelievable, we took over 20,000 fans down to the Aviva and thankfully we managed to repay them with a good win," Thomson told Larne TV.
"That makes you hungry for more success.
"I feel that we have a squad, backroom staff and infrastructure here to be successful.
"Hopefully we can have a product on the pitch where that can be successful.
"Derry is also a one-club city so everyone supports the team and the club means everything to them.
"Having spoken to people around the club you kind of get the same feeling."
