Joe Swash has opened up about his and his wife Stacey Solomon's foster plans after he made a 'sad' admission about their life together. The couple, who wed in July last year, currently share three children together and three between them from previous relationships.
Stacey, 33, gave birth to their daughter Belle back in February after announcing their surprise pregnancy just weeks earlier. They welcomed baby Belle just 14 months after welcoming first daughter, Rose, into the world while they also share son Rex, four. Stacey is also a doting mum to eldest sons Zachary and Leighton and doting dad Joe, 41, has teenage son Harry from previous relationships.
Mum-of-five Stacey was recently asked about whether baby number six could be on the cards and didn't shy away with a frank response. "I've literally just given birth!" Stacey replied when quizzed by OK! Magazine. She added while laughing: "I couldn’t even imagine anything going on."

The Loose Women star, who shot to fame on The X Factor in 2009 where she made it to the final alongside Olly Murs and eventual winner Joe McElderry, also shared how she relies heavily on the "massive family network" around her to cope with the chaos of daily life with a big family.
"The older ones [children] help - and Joe is amazing," she told OK! "We’ve got a massive family network, my mum and dad, his [Joe’s] mum, sisters, brothers all chip in – we couldn’t do it without them. They say it takes a village and we need the whole village!"
Now, Joe has said that he's considering fostering with his wife but admits it's "sad" they likely won't have any more children of their own. Opening up about his family's future, he told The Netmums podcast: "I’m pretty sure that this is it, we can’t go there again which is really sad, we love kids, we love the baby stage, and the toddler stage, and the baby stage goes by really fast, so it is a little bit sad but I think this will be it.
"Fostering is something that me and Stacey have talked about and would love to do. We'd love to foster, we'd love to give something back, you know? It is something that we definitely want to do, when our kids get old enough that they're not as reliant on us."
Joe has likely been inspired by his mum, Kiffy, has been a foster carer for the last 15 years. And it was also announced back in November that the former soap star, who played Mickey Miller in BBC's EastEnders, will front the documentary Joe Swash: Teens In Care which will see Joe spend time with young people who are currently living in foster or residential care, and those who have recently left.
He said at the time: "I’m really thrilled to be making this documentary with the team at Firecracker for the BBC. Foster care is a subject really close to my heart as I grew up with foster siblings so it’s something I’m passionate about exploring. I’m really looking forward to meeting the young people in care and hearing their stories."
