Joe Swash has been hailed a ‘legend’ after the former I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here winner carried a 95-year-old woman into a hospital when she could not find a wheelchair.
Joe, 40, rushed to the rescue when the woman arrived for a hospital appointment and the relatives she came with were struggling to get her inside. A woman called Suz took to Twitter to praise Joe for his selfless act of kindness.
She said: “Yesterday my 95-year-old nan had a hospital app, in a very busy hospital my two aunties that took her couldn’t find a wheelchair so had to half carry her in, out of all the people there a man ran straight to them to help @realjoeswash thank you so much.”

Joe, who recently got married to fellow TV star Stacey Solomon, replied to the Tweet, saying: “No problem! Your man [sic] looks amazing for 95 hope she Is ok,” followed by a thumbs up emoji.
Fans were quick to hail “kind [and] genuine” Joe for giving them “hope for humanity.” One wrote: “Mr Swash you are a true gentleman!!”

Another said: “Your act of kindness was a real gift to someone who was struggling. 100% amazing geezer bless you and your family with all the joy in the world.”
Joe was also described as “a beautiful and lovely guy” and “really kind hearted.”
Last month, Joe and Stacey were wed in an “intimate” ceremony at Pickle Cottage, Essex. At the time, Stacey said: "Forever. Me and My Husband I don’t think I will ever get used to saying that.
"It all feels like a dream.”
