Joe Swash calls wife Stacey Solomon 'bossy' as he opens up about relationship dynamic

Joe Swash dubbed his wife Stacey Solomon "bossy" as he opened up about the couple's home life.

The pair share three children together and she is fully supportive of his stint on I'm A Celebrity South Africa, where he is joining a number of other former campmates including fellow EastEnders star Dean Gaffney, who he entered alongside earlier this week.

During tonight's episode, Joe headed to the Bush Telegraph where he talked about his love for his fellow campmate Fatima, who has been quite militant since joining the show, admitting he didn't mind her bossy because that's what his wife was like.

Speaking in the Bush Telegraph, he said: "Fatima's definitely like my Stacey. She's the only other woman that can boss me around in a really nice way and without me realising that I've been bossed around, which is clever."

I'm A Celebrity holds a special place in Joe's heart because it was how he met his wife Stacey.

Speaking about his wife's reaction to him heading into the jungle, he said: " I’m A Celebrity holds a big place in my heart. I won it and I was lucky enough to go on to present the spin-off series on ITV2 for ten years. I met Stacey whilst I was out in Australia and me and Stacey have now married and we have had kids. Doing the all-stars series is closure. It finishes off the circle."

He added: "Stacey is over the moon about me doing it. The jungle holds a big part in both our hearts. Without the jungle, we wouldn’t have each other. In a way, we owe it to the jungle to say goodbye."

Joe's son Harry - who he has from a previous relationship - was just a baby when he first went on the show.

"My eldest son, Harry, was one when I did the jungle and he is 16 now! I want the kids to watch I’m A Celebrity… South Africa and for both of us to be able to tell them ‘I’m A Celebrity is where mummy and daddy met,'" he shared.

"The jungle is always going to be a big part of our family."
