New York Giants general manager Joe Schoen will be in Mobile, Alabama for the 2022 Reese’s Senior Bowl next week.
This upcoming draft is monumental for Schoen and the front office as they try to start a rebuild for the organization. One integral part of a rebuild is to make sure the team is stockpiled in talent which is something that the Giants have been missing over the past five seasons.
With nine draft picks in 2022 the Giants will have several opportunities to reload the team’s talent. And the prospect studying will continue with Schoen & Co. on February 5th as they will be scouting talent at the Reese’s Senior Bowl.
Some names for Schoen and Giants fans to watch out for are Sam Howell (QB), Malik Willis (QB), Kenny Pickett (QB), Desmond Ridder (QB), Daniel Faalele (OT), Max Mitchell (OT), Zion Johnson (OG), and Jamaree Salyer (OG) on the offensive end. On the defensive end, Devonte Wyatt (DT), Phidarian Mathis (DT), Myjai Sanders (EDGE), Devin Llyod (LB), Coby Bryant (CB), Derion Kendrick (CB), and Jaquan Brisker (S).
There is a lot of talent at this year’s Senior Bowl and it is good for New York that they will have an excellent evaluator in Schoen to determine who the Giants should draft.
